Newbery Medal Books

YA books are one of my favorite genres. Just because a book in “young adult” doesn’t mean it’s not a good book, or a deep one. The Newbery Medal books represent some of the best of the YA genre. My goal is to read them all.

I’ve read 15. Read marked in blue. On the To-read shelf marked in green.

11/24/14 Edit – I’ve been working on collecting Newbery books as I find them at thrift stores and updated this list with those the newest Newbery winners and the two titles I’ve read in 2014. So that brings the total up to 17. See my page for tracking Newbery reads for the latest updates.
