Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

May 4: My Ten Most Recent Reads (maybe share a one-sentence review to go with?)

Ten Most Recent Reads

  1. Currently Reading: The Collapsing Path (The Narrowing Path Series Book 3) – So far this one seems slower than the other two. It’s spending a lot of time having the protagonist think about the flaws in the society. Hopefully it’s leading up to some really good action.

2. The Treacherous Path (The Narrowing Path Series Book 2) – The continuing story of the Narrowing Path.

3. Manga Claus – Hilarious kids graphic novel about a samurai trained Santa Claus.

4. The Narrowing Path (The Narrowing Path Series Book 1) – A fantastic SFF book about a world that comes so close to it’s sun every 6 years that it burns up. Teenage boy must compete for a place in the refuge to survive the Infernum.

5. All Summer Long – A middle-grade graphic novel about 8th graders who were childhood friend drifting apart during a summer.

6. Mega Princess – A great kids graphic novel about a girl who just wants to be a detective but is a princess.

7. Infernal Devices – The 3rd book in the Mortal Engines series focus around the daughter of Hestor and Tom. I didn’t think it was as exciting as the first two books.

8. Connecting Church and Home – A must read book for anyone involved in Christian ministry.

9. Predators Gold – The 2nd book of Mortal Engines runs away with great worldbuilding and more excitement.

10. Mortal Engines – I don’t know why I put off reading this for so long. I devoured the book 😉 and then went and bought the second one right away.
